Beet Aldome شاليهات بيت الدوم
White dome chalet with steps down into its private pool at Beet Aldome, Dhahban

About Beet Aldome · شاليهات بيت الدوم

Four units, four walls, one idea.

Beet Aldome, also written Beit Al Dome, means “the house of the dome”. It is a small place in Dhahban, North Jeddah, built on the idea that a night away should feel like a house of your own.

The idea

We built Beet Aldome for the night you do not want to share: your own gate, your own pool, and no one looking over the wall.

How it started, who built it and the year the first dome opened are a story we are still writing up Draft. What we can tell you plainly is what the place is today: every unit is walled, every pool is private, and you never share space with another group.

Why domes

Why a dome, and not another box.

Jeddah has no shortage of concrete estrahas. We wanted something you would remember the morning after: a round room with the sky in the glass, a bed under the curve, and a window that looks straight at the water.

So three of our four chalets are domes. The fourth is a pine cabin with a roof terrace, for families who need a second bedroom.

Where & how

Rooted in Dhahban, woven like a majlis.

We chose Dhahban because it is still quiet after dark: walled plots, low houses and Salman Bay beach a short walk away, at the northern edge of the city.

The pattern you see across this site is Sadu, the woven textile of the Bedouin majlis. It stands for what we try to offer: a host’s welcome, then the room to be left alone.
